Early this morning we had the sheep showered by the mobile sheep shower.  It treats the sheep with a product that prevents and treats lice, ticks etc.  They go into it in small groups and stay for a few minutes, there is a spray overhead for a little while and then a spray underneath for a little while.  They are then let out into a drainage pen to drip dry for a little time before being turned out into the field.  Some farmers still 'dip' their sheep in a large tank set in the ground and 'poss' them about.  Sheep can swim!
